RV Technician
Highway RV Service & Parts is a busy family owned business with a strong team focus. We are committed to looking after our customers with quality repairs and service , and our customer reviews reflect this. We work on all aspects of RV repair except for the engine and chassis – however we will do oil change and generator service. We also have a busy collision, paint and busy side.
We are looking for a service technician with a strong focus on quality workmanship. Paint and body experience preferred with a background in construction/electrical, plumbing repair an advantage. A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team is required.
The ability to diagnose and then fix problems, be a self-starter and have a focus on quality and attention to detail is essential.
There is on the job training and the opportunity for further RV certification
Requirements:
• Must have own tools appropriate to skill level, some advanced tools are provided
· Must be punctual with a positive attitude
• Must have a valid Driver's License with clean, insurable, driving record
• Must have professional references who can verify work experience
• Experience in fields such as collision/paint and body, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, are a plus!
Job Type: Full-time 8am-5pm, no weekends.
Experience: Paint and body preferred, construction/plumbing/electrical an advantage
Compensation: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
License: Driver's License (Required), forklift license an advantage

Work Environment:
While we have 7 bays, you will also be required at times to work on RV’s outside the building. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs, may be exposed to solvents and chemicals, slippery floors due to oil and grease spills, Cramped conditions under RV’s and in RV compartments, must be able to climb ladders, work on roofs, bend or stand for long periods of time.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour dependent on experience
